Liberals Condone Looting Post-Katrina

I couldn't make this crap up.
From the Democratic Underground:
The fact the national guard is keeping people from FOOD shows we are NOT living in a democracy, the Rich people's THINGS must be protected from starving people!!Remember the french revolution, the rich make sure the lower class suffers and is desperate, the middle class is scared of poor people, the soldiers are bribed obedient and loyal,. That is how they say rich and on our backs.Fuck all the corporate pigs. Fucking assholes!Disaster shows us the true use of our military is to PROTECT PROPERTY of corporations above human life, to keep the rich secure people DIE.I say Eat the rich people if they will not let you get food.Roast them on a spit and share the bounty. They have been fed on the finest organic foods.*sarcasm*Damn I am pissed. Let the people EAT..What happened soldier to defending life? Life comes before property IF you are not a sociopath scum bag.Don't obey wealthy scumbags posing as"leaders".Sheesh.

And this is supposed to represent morally-superior, progressive thought in the 21st century. I would like to know how the one guy who broke into a clothing store is going to eat the 10 pairs of jeans he stole. With hot sauce...?

I found this pretty interesting...

I actually felt myself become a republican today. It was around 10am, when I read the latest update of the Cindy Sheehan saga in CNN.com. I then shot over to read some blogs about it, and perused the comments in some of them, which was nothing but a long series of petty (albeit entertaining) partisan bickering.

Then it happend. The good little democrat in me tied the little noose around his neck and jumped off the stool. He just couldn’t take it anymore.

Update: Of course, the far-left moonbats have come out and attacked this guy in their own typically rude fashion. Read his Comments section.

And now a message for our sponsors...

This blog is only 3 days old, but it probably would have never existed if it wasn't for Nancy. Several years ago her blog was one of many I stumbled across while searching for some information on a Lethbridge, Alberta politician who had claimed she had been kidnapped to Las Vegas.
Fast forward to today. The other blogs are gone from my reading list but Nancy's is still one of my daily reads. Unlike many others, she has the ability to conjure vivid mental images with her writing that continues to draw me back to her site. While her political and social views are often opposite of mine, she still continues to entertain me on almost a daily basis and even though she's a professional writer and I'm only a glorified electrician, she was the one who got me to think that I should give this a try.

Nancy, you're the best.
